Your Highness the Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah,

After expressing my loyalty and appreciation to your Highness, I am happy to express my deep pride towards your distinctive decisions especially this invitation to the Arab-African summit to gather the diverging views and combine the different parties during this difficult time where strife and wars are ravaging the Arab and African countries.

I am, like all loyal Kuwaitis and Arabs, confident about your successful efforts in reducing the risks in the region and you will, with the grace of God, succeed to reconcile the parties and heal the wounds, due to the role played by Kuwait as an axis for understanding and a beacon of values while being firmly moderate.

I pray God to bestow you success because this Arab-African summit, held under your patronage, represents a valuable step on the process to reduce the deterioration in the security, economy and politics levels, especially in the Arab world, where the successive events are subsequent to further deterioration and often destruction reached the limits of disasters.

The fact of holding such a conference for kings and presidents represents a positive step under the auspices of the State of Kuwait and this is not surprising, since your Highness are concerned to subside sedition and converge opposite views, so peace would prevail across these two worlds.

We are proud of this role assigned to Kuwait and its politicians. We wish your Highness and the politicians crew helping you, particularly His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, most of success in completing this difficult task so that you all can help fixing what strife and wars ravaged, so that the Arab Spring will be filled with roses instead of thorns.

May God protect the Amir of Kuwait and the Heir of the Crown and accord these faithful gathered personalities at this summit the wisdom and make their people’s wishes come true through peace and prosperity.
