O missed Prince, Saad Al-Abdullah Al - Salem Al-Sabah ... O Prince of love and humility... O My Prince, my Father...
We miss you, O dear Prince, we miss you now that you have dismounted your horse and left us but the field still yearns to you. O Dear special Leader, you gave your homeland more than human beings may give; You gave your life to your citizens when dedicated people became rare and you cared about their safety and security which was granted to them thanks to you and to God who gave you wisdom, devotion, freedom and well-being.
You crossed, with your country, through dangerous paths and war horrors, till you arrived with your family and compatriots to the safe side and security.
You gave them passion from the deep of your heart; you gave them love with every beat of your heart. You were like their father, brother and friend, so they did not find words to express their gratitude to your devotion except "Your Highness the Father," and I cannot, at this moment, express my thanks to you, but to address to your Highness these words of the poet Abu-Tayeb Al-Mutanabbi:
Each one wants his men to his life; you want your life to his men.
This is how you were, Dear Father Prince, courageous in defending, wise in deciding, prominent among your peers the Kings, you were always right, never to blame. You believed in faith as a path to God, so you were devoted to please Him. You believed that education is the way to evolve, so you did the impossible to fight ignorance, and you saw that dialogue is the way to harmony, so you were the first one to reach the hearts.
The culture, to you, was a bridge connecting the minds, a strong element in the souls and the shortest route leading to meeting people. You transformed Kuwait into a beacon of science, a culture oasis and a forum to connect people. So, Kuwaiti magazines filled the libraries in the Arab world and the land of Islam.
Your Highness Father Prince, I talk to you as if I were in your presence, because I see you every time the Kuwaitis are getting along together. I see you every time we talk about the fair ruler and dedicated princes.
Yes, I assure you that you were a unique ruler seeking glory. Being a prince was never to you an instinct nor obsession, because it was your prayer path, service medium, and duties scene.
You left us, O Father Prince, but your biography remained an ideal example in governance and leadership; your biography that is repeated among people, inspire confidence and stimulate hope which is still significant in Kuwait. Your country is still able to generate efficient and qualified leaders, capable of sailing the ship to reach the safe and secure side.
