Sheikh Fahad Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah: The assault was not with the intent to rob...And the uniqueness of our people appears in attitudes

The Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad headed yesterday the crowd of well-wishers at the Diwan of His Highness the President of the National Guard Sheikh Salem Al-Ali to congratulate him for the return of his son, Sheikh Fahad Salem Al-Ali safe and sound to the homeland after the assault incident in which he was subjected to in Paris last week.

Sheikh Fahad Salem Al - Ali had arrived home yesterday after he recovered from the assault accident he was subjected to in Paris last week,  amid a big reception including the members of the ruling family and the people of Kuwait .

In a speech to reporters, Sheikh Fahad Al- Salem Al-Ali assured that the matter now is the responsibility of the French authorities that are showing great concern and making efforts to prosecute the perpetrator. He denied rumors of news alleging that the incident was a robbery attempt where the assailant was wearing a mask, assuring you that it was not a theft attempt at all. As to the details of the incident and those who stand behind it, are left to the French authorities who are responsible for uncovering the circumstances of this dastardly incident.

Sheikh Fahad Al- Salem Al-Ali said: “Thank God, thank God I am back to the beloved land of Kuwait after the tragic incident that I experienced in France; this Perfidious and coward incident that on the other hand revealed to me clearly the essence of the Kuwaiti people and his authentic stands.  It made me realize the authenticity of the people of Kuwait who always takes noble stands if any of his sons gets subjected to an accident or attack. I saw the big concern of the Kuwaiti people including citizens and residents on this good land. I felt an indescribable feeling and overwhelmed with all this love since their knowledge of the treacherous incident, and I say with pride that the love of my family, the people of Kuwait, headed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al - Ahmad Al and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al – Mohammad, whose concern about me played a big role in speeding up my healing with the grace of the Almighty God."

Sheikh Fahad added: “I say with all sincerity, your place is in my heart, O people of Kuwait, we have known that our beloved country is envied for the blessing of brotherhood and harmony between its people, but the stands reveal the authenticity of its people. I greet everyone who asked about me, and sought reassurance about my health. I send a sincere and pure greeting to my parents and those who remained worried and restless until they heard my voice and reassured my safety. Praise and gratitude be to God whom I ask to protect Kuwait and its people from all harm under the leadership of His Highness the Emir and the Crown Prince.
