It is difficult for us to live in the eye of a storm with no clear fate, as we hear the rising toll of victims day after day, on the drums of strife and wars. What is harder, is that officials and rulers have nothing but statements of condemnation, as they remain hostages of exclamation marks with every calamity.

It is difficult also, is that we are afraid to speak, as we fear our destiny while some officials are racing to the front seats gasping for fame. These officials are the reason of our woes, because their corruption spoiled everything and stole the rights of citizens. This lead to the disaster we suffer nowadays, which left us afraid of everything!

Perhaps the truth is lost, swallowed by the whales of power, and we are very busy searching for the reasons behind the daily lies and false promises.

Probably they are unaware of the oppressed people, or they cannot see their suffering. They might continue to dominate our world, buying and selling everything, as if the earth, land and seas are their property. What is worse is that the people unfortunately think their rulers do own everything!

The people are unaware that such rulers are enjoying the wealth of citizens, and that they devour their souls and hopes, their dreams and future.

Will there be a day, when this greed will stop? Will the silent cries of the people be heard? When will this tyranny and oppression stop? Will ignorance be stronger than truth? Are we heading to the abyss?

Maybe it is time we find hope again. Maybe we can reach the impossible and finally understand that knowledge is the most powerful weapon of all.

Silence benefits the oppressors, which means it is time to speak up.

The question remains: When will this deterioration stop? Are we going to watch silently as the tyrant takes his people down to the abyss?
