The train that never arrives

Because words are the first step to action, and a mirror that reflects thought into a comprehensive and accurate picture of ideas and feelings in the human depth, we are responsible before God for each sentence and word we utter.

Speech is not just voices to fill the void, it is a great responsibility, because our duty is to be fully aware of everything we say, and to know the audience we are addressing, and the meanings and repercussions of our words.

But in reality, the one who writes articles on democracy being the best governance system, for example, is the one who does not hesitate to serve the dictator and indirectly promote dictatorship.

The worst are those calling for freedom as necessity for all people, raising the slogans of respecting the other opinion, but are constantly  fighting opponents and inciting the government to silence them, with the support and approval of readers and audience.

This is the main problem in our societies; People carelessly throwing words here and there, with no responsibility…

We hear speeches that are very strong, beautiful, poetic and powerful, to affect the audience and spark revolutions and demand citizenship and rights. The audience clap with excitement but then nothing happens...just words in void, as the citizen is still far from Arabism, unity, pride, dignity…).

These speeches proved they are nothing but poetry and unfruitful slogans. Great causes require determination and strong will, or we will remain hostages of words, waiting for Arab unity, like a passenger waiting for a train that will never arrive.
