The Holy month of Ramadan, is the blessed month that opens the doors of repentance, spreading mercy and good deeds among people. Ramadan is the month of Allah, rewarding the worship of all Muslims.

The Quraan was sent down to guide people to happiness in both realms. We are ordered to abide by its laws and refrain from all its prohibitions and to remain faithful to good, helping the weak and supporting those in need, restraining our desires and avoiding arrogance and profligacy through moderation.

In this holy month, we have to spread the words of peace, correct our misdeeds, support the weak and help the needy, to reach a homogenous community, blessed by happiness and justice.

In this blessed month, we remember the principles of our ancestors, who fasted and worshiped God. It is our responsibility in front of God and our conscience to make the month of Ramadan a starting point for development, a platform for peace, love and integration, both in our society and in the societies of the Islamic nation in various nomenclatures and different geography.

We should be worthy of Ramadan, we should deserve its kindness and blessings, to achieve development and acquire good manners, as a nation chosen by god to be the best, commanding virtue and denouncing evil.

Let us take the incentive to fight discrimination and sectarianism, which threatens our lives and shreds the fabric of our society, and sabotages our reputation around the world.

May Allah guide us to worship him at our best, and bless our land where people are always close to the heavens.

May Allah help us to fast this holy month, and grasp its noble morals and clear teachings.
